Join us for an in-person CPR + First Aid Course sponsored by the Cooperative Public Health Service (CPHS) at the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG). The CPHS serves 15 Boards of Health in Franklin County.
Bernardston: CPR on April 25th, 5-7 PM; First Aid on May 2nd, 5-8 PM
Shelburne Falls: CPR on May 2nd, 5-7 PM; First Aid on May 9th, 5-8 PM
Your Mission: Learn the skills to resuscitate Adults, Children, & Infants in the event of life-threatening situations such as cardiac arrest, stroke, drowning, electrocution, trauma, and more.
CPR, Choking Relief, as well as Narcan and AED are all covered in this highly-experiential course so you can skillfully respond to the most acute situations.
In the First Aid Course, you will learn to prevent and treat the most common illnesses and injuries such as Bleeding, Fractures, Head Trauma, Shock, Hypothermia, Frostbite, Heat Exhaustion, Dehydration, Burns, Allergies, and more so you can feel peace of mind in your daily life and when heading out on big adventures.
CPR + First Aid is for all people and is commonly taken by parents, teachers, camp counselors, nature-based leaders, farmers, people who work in building trades, and more.
