10/20/25 Update: The vacancy has been filled. Rob Whittier of West Gill Road has been appointed to the position.
There is a vacancy on the Town's Board of Assessors, which is a three member board that meets every other week. This is a stipend paid position and the current Board members would greatly appreciate the help of another member. The vacancy will be filled by an appointment made jointly by the Selectboard and the other two Assessors. This interim appointment is an excellent way to learn more about the position before running as a candidate in the town election in May 2026.
