5:45 PM Utility Pole Hearing Request by Eversource and Verizon to install one pole at 182 Main Road to provide electricity to an existing home

6:00 PM Nuisance Dog Hearing for dog “Taco” licensed to Chad Powling, 13 West Gill Rd

Board of Assessors
- Hiring recommendation for Assistant to the Assessors position
- Request to use Diane Sumrall as temporary part-time employee to provide training

New Business

Police Department topics
- Appointment – Darren Gale as a part-time police officer through 6/30/26
- Department policy updates (based on POST Commission’s model policies)
- Request to use Administrative Clerk for clerical assistance in PD, time to be paid from PD’s budget, total hours for all departments not to exceed 19 hours/week
- Replacement of 3 cruiser Mobile Data Terminals – 2 are funded by $11,409 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant, 1 funded by ~$4,700 from CONNECT grant account and $1,000 requested from NMH Donation account
Highway Department topics
- Project approval to transfer bucket assembly from 1995 GMC Sierra bucket truck to 2005 Ford F550
- MassDOT Unpaved Roads grant – application ideas
Appointment – Bonnie Bloom, 147 Main Rd, to Energy Commission through 6/30/27
Conservation Restriction (CR) for land along Mountain Road owned by Richard French & Emily Samuels – Alain Peteroy, Deputy Director, Franklin Land Trust – Selectboard vote to approve CR is requested
